BRIEF ITINERARY

Days 1-2: Welcome to Buenos Aires

Reception at international airport and transfer to your hotel — Go for a stroll with your host to get an orientation of your neighborhood for the next few days — In the evening, experience the passion of Buenos Aires’ iconic music as you enjoy a gourmet dinner and tango show in an intimate and exclusive venue – Experience a personalized walking tour of the most interesting neighborhoods of the city to appreciate the finer details not covered on the traditional circuit.

Days 3-5: Now THESE are glaciers! – El Calafate

Strap on your crampons and head deep into the middle of the amazing Perito Moreno glacier that stands more than 3 miles wide, 200 feet tall and stretches back as far as the eyes can see – Participate in an adventurous hiking and boating expedition to the Southern Glaciers of Argentina’s Glaciers National Park. This is definitely off the beaten path as only 12 people are permitted to enter this area of the Park per day! – Hop in AWD vehicles for an off-road adventure above El Calafate that offers amazing panoramic views and stunning rock formations.

Days 6-10: Crossing the Andes – Torres del Paine, Chile

After your scenic transfer crossing the border into Chile, you’ll have a half day planned activity to reach the beautiful Blue Lagoon with it’s incredible panoramic views of the Paine Towers – Spend a day getting an overview of the most interesting parts of the park including the Paine Horns, Lake Nordenskjold, the Salto Grande waterfall and a navigation to the Grey Glacier. – Enjoy 2 full days of hiking on your own as you explore parts of the world famous W circuit. – Return to El Calafate to relax for a night before moving on to the final part of your hiking adventure.

Days 11-14: Home of the granite peaked Fitz Roy Mountain! – El Chalten

Enjoy an incredible scenic private transfer to El Chalten located in the northern tip of Argentina’s Los Glaciares National Park – Enjoy a private guided full day hike among the most imposing scenery offered in Patagonia. You’ll be amazed during your hike as you’ll encounter virgin forests, wide open valleys, granite peaked mountains, colorful lagoons and hanging glaciers all in the same day! – Enjoy 2 full days of independent hiking among El Chalten’s network of pristine trails covering both the Fitz Roy and Torre mountain chains.

Days 15-16: Back to the city – Buenos Aires

You’ll transfer by car to El Calafate for your direct flight to Buenos Aires – Relax and explore the city on your own for one more memorable day as part of your amazing experience in this part of the world.
