BRIEF ITINERARY

Days 1 -2: Welcome to Buenos Aires

Reception at international airport and transfer to your hotel — Go for a stroll with your host to get an orientation of your neighborhood for the next few days — In the evening, experience the passion of Buenos Aires’ iconic music as you enjoy a gourmet dinner and tango show in an intimate and exclusive venue – Enjoy a comprehensive highlights tour of the region’s most cosmopolitan city.

Days 3-5: A UNESCO World Heritage Site – Valdes Peninsula

Spend an afternoon exploring the town of Puerto Madryn set along the shores of the deep blue Atlantic Ocean – Leave civilization behind with your private guide to immerse yourself in the untouched Valdes Peninsula for 2 days – Enjoy up close encounters with the massive Southern Right Whale – Walk among thousands of penguins – Spot dozens of other native wildlife species including orcas, dolphins, sea lions, elephant seals & land based mammals such as the guanaco – Relax and soak in the surroundings as you spend two nights in a remote lodge located along the southern cliffs of the Reserve.

Days 6-8: The Patagonian Ice Fields – El Calafate

Fly south to the quaint town of El Calafate set along the shores of South America’s 3rd largest lake and enjoy an afternoon free to explore the beautiful Nimes Bird Sanctuary – Visit the southern end of Argentina’s Los Glaciares National Park for jaw dropping views of the Perito Moreno Glacier that stands 200 feet tall, 3.5 miles wide and stretches back as far as the eyes can see – Strap on your crampons for a one of a kind ice trek on the Moreno glacier – Enjoy a scenic navigation along the pristine waters of Argentino Lake until reaching the Upsala Channel where you will kayak among huge icebergs with the Upsala glacier as your backdrop.

Day 9: Return home

Fly back to Buenos Aires and enjoy a few hours for some last minute exploring or shopping prior to your transfer to the international airport for your return flight home.
