Everything in the trip was perfect. Your choice of hotels, activities and guides was just right and the logistics worked flawlessly. We certainly were spoiled by the end of the trip – when we stepped out of the restaurant, the car was there, when we showed up at the airport the tickets were there, when we came down to the lobby in the morning the guides were there…… And having Andrea there really spoiled me as I didn’t have to worry about anything.

With the spread of ages and interests in my family it is really hard to pick things that everybody will enjoy – on this trip there wasn’t one day that wasn’t a hit. We all have fabulous memories of Argentina. I’ve already recommended you to several friends and colleagues that heard about our trip.

My special thanks to Andrea for being so informative, fun and helpful to all of us and especially to Russell during their conversations in the back of the van. Thanks once again for a great trip and hope to see you and Andrea again (don’t forget to visit when you come through Houston!)

Hi Marcelo, Just wanted to thank you again for planning our incredible journey through Argentina. I have worked with many different travel companies over the course of our travels across the globe and can honestly say your level of service was far superior to any of the others. Your flexibility and responsiveness to our many changes to the itinerary based on our evolving interests both before and during our trip was very impressive. Every bit of the trip was fantastic and every activity and location you suggested was just right for interests of our large family (6) and wide range of ages (9 to 46). The movement from city to city, hotel to hotel and activity to activity was absolutely seamless. We also really appreciated your selection of guides on our many activities. They too seem to understand the dynamic of our family and were patient when we are having one our finer moments as a family. All them were insightful about the local region and towns and helped us understand firsthand the Argentinean culture.

Lastly, meeting you and your wife and spending time with you both was really an added treat for us.

I would appreciate it if you could expand your business to parts of Latin America and the globe as we would like to use you for future travels outside Argentina!

Thank you!

Argentina Adventure is excellent, I must say the best experience I’ve EVER had working with an agent and to give that some context I’ve been to 60+ countries. They listened to what we wanted to achieve and came up with perfect suggestions within our budget. All arrangements were flawless and extremely personalized. All our drivers had been informed that my husband is a photographer and to anticipate multiple requests to stop for photos. Attention to detail continued during the trip with thoughtful touches like letting us know that the Perito Moreno Glacier was about to break, arranging to switch out some luggage with us as we shifted from the hiking part of the trip to the more leisurely part in Mendoza. Nothing was cookie-cutter, the itinerary was totally tailored to our needs. Excellent service from knowledgeable personable professionals.

We loved El Chalten and the perfectly located and friendly hotel we stayed in with views of Fitzroy. We loved getting really close to the penguins in Ushuaia and our hotel and the winery tours and gourmet lunches in Mendoza rounded out an awesome trip.

I had such a great time there. There simply are no words how my life is changed. Already I am so home sick. In a previous life I must have been Argentinean! The fates made our paths cross- so I could discover my heart while I am still here. ‘Thank you’ is so inadequate. I think about you and Marcelo continually- and our wonderful last afternoon. So happy and yet so sad to leave. Don’t know what to say. I am overcome. Thanks for your friendship!

Just a note to tell you what a great time we had in Argentina. You were perfect hosts. You should be proud of how professional you are how hard you are working. Everything was organized to perfection and they took great care of us. Let us know when you come up and we will have dinner here for you, Buck and Carole with lots of Malbec.

Argentina Adventure was over the top in providing a delightful itinerary, luxury accommodations, wonderful meals , wines and personal touches to include a private dinner with our delightful host Andrea and private cooking class with Marcelo. The guides and adventures were exceptional. They even provided us with a cell phone to call them anytime we needed something. They made us feel like royalty every step of the way.

Unforgettable moments: Our kayaking trip to a hot gourmet lunch served just for us on the shores of Mascardi Lake in Bariloche, hiking the falls in Iguazu and taking the boat ride into them, horseback riding at La Usina, the off road jeep adventure with grilled lunch on the ranch and hiking the glacier in El Calafate, also city tours of Buenos Aires and the tango show.

Marcelo did an exceptional job for us in planning and executing our trip. He took the time to listen what we wanted, prepared options for these wishes, and then executed. He followed our flights unbeknownst to us and on our last flight, alerted us that the flight was delayed before we left the hotel. Much nicer sitting at the hotel than at the airport. He provided us with a phone on arrival programmed with his phone number if we had any issues. The phone was also provided so we could call home to the US or family as needed.

We met many many people on the trip and thus expanded our circle of friends. We so thoroughly enjoyed our experience that we have already told several of our friends about the experience and recommended they consider Argentina as a future destination.

Trip Highlights: Not just one thing but the variety of things we did. We hiked, visited glaciers, boated, rode a train and so on. The time at Eolo Hotel was especially relaxing and enjoyable. The team that took us to the Torrecillas Glacier in Parque Los Alerces was especially enjoyable as we felt we got to know the local people. They shared mate with us giving us a flavor of their culture. Overall, Patagonia is a beautiful part of the word and we enjoyed greatly. Also, the fact that everything was taken care for us was great so we could enjoy the trip rather than worrying about what was coming next.

Our trip was superb, and Marcelo and Andrea from Argentina Adventure helped us put together a trip that was delightful, memorable, challenging and relaxing all at the same time– it was exactly what we hoped for, and then it beat our expectations! They arranged the different aspects and logistics for our visit to Argentina, which included Buenos Aires, Calafate/Patagonia, Mendoza and Iguazu Falls and the arrangements were so seamless that we felt that we got to enjoy each of the varied areas, stay active, and have plenty of time to also savor each moment. The transfers were seamless and there was no detail overlooked. Marcelo helped us with the planning and then Andrea watched over us while we were in Argentina – she was warm, attentive and made us feel like family.

My husband, my daughter and I enjoyed each of the different regions, but the boat ride and hiking in Patagonia, the lunch and wine tasting at Ruca Malen and the boat ride under the Falls were three particularly fabulous experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed each of the lodges Marcelo recommended to us, and especially enjoyed our time at Finca Adalgisa, a small winery in the Mendoza area- we enjoyed visiting with the owner who was delightful and the rooms and setting were just enchanting.
The lodges in Calafate and in the jungle near Iguazu Falls were also in beautiful settings, and our stays in each of those spots were also quite memorable- we felt that each of the three areas we visited outside of Buenos Aires alone would have made a wonderful experience, but all three together created a trip of a lifetime!

While we had a general idea of what we wanted to see, we never would have been able to arrange each of the varied activities (which also included white water rafting and horseback riding at a spectacular setting in Patagonia) without Marcelo’s guidance and suggestions- he was really able to understand what we wanted from our vacation and hit the target 100%! We also really appreciated having a cell phone provided to us when we landed, as our daughter was living in Buenos Aires, and it also let us stay in touch with her while we stayed in Buenos Aires before we traveled to other parts of Argentina with her, and to have the ability to also be in touch with Andrea – it was a perfect additional touch!

Marcelo was so responsive throughout the planning process, and was very flexible as we changed our minds about hotels and dates. He was very accommodating of our needs, including our plan to use an apartment rather than a hotel in Buenos Aires, going so far as to send a member of his team in Buenos Aires to visit the apartment and send us pictures and an assessment of the neighborhood. That great service and flexibility continued when we got to Buenos Aires and were greeted by Andrea, our in-country guide. We had originally been scheduled to go to Bariloche, but because of the continuing problems with ash from the volcano in Chile back in May, it was questionable whether the Bariloche airport would be open when we were scheduled to travel there. Andrea was very helpful in presenting our options to us, giving us the flexibility to continue with Bariloche as planned or to go to a new in-country destination. She was informative without being pushy. When we decided to go to Ushuaia, Andrea worked hard to get us new accommodations and even stood in line at the airport for hours to secure a change in our tickets. Marcelo and Andrea even comped the change in ticket price, which was wonderful! All in all, every detail went smoothly – it was great to have transfer drivers waiting at every location and to have a mix of planned and unplanned activities. It was also wonderful to be able to call Andrea with anything we needed, whether it was a question about our flights or to ask for help making a reservation. I would strongly recommend this travel company for anyone looking for a hassle-free trip to Argentina!

We spent two weeks in Argentina, with stops in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Ushuaia. In Buenos Aires, our favorite moments included eating at La Cabrera (a recommendation from our in-country guide Andrea), drinking cafe con leches in the afternoon, and visiting the museums and sites like Recoleta Cemetery. We had a wonderful time in Mendoza, which was a welcome break from the city. We were there in the off-season, and were lucky to have a fabulous bilingual driver and a number of great private wine tours. We particularly enjoyed our tours at Salentein and Catena Zapata bodegas, as well as our lunch at Rucha Malen. We also had great food and accommodations at Casa Margot, a small, two-person B&B which gave great personal service. In Ushuaia, we had a great stay at Los Caquenos where we had a fabulous view. We really enjoyed doing the boat tour of the Beagle Channel on a smaller vessel and also our off-roading experience (complete with dog sledding and snow shoeing!) in Tierra del Fuego, as well as some great seafood. One of us also did a day of skiing while the other had a relaxing spa day!

This is a first class organization. I take world adventure trips every year and they have, by far, provided the best service. From the planning process and the investment in time to get the trip just right to the actual execution, Argentina Adventure was superb.

It’s hard to identify one part of the trip that was most memorable as it really was the sum of all the parts that made it incredible. Argentina is a beautiful country and our trip had the right balance of all of the various activities I enjoy partaking in on vacation.

Argentina Adventure was outstanding and went beyond my expectations. They met us at the airport, arranged for a terrific tango dance instructor, gave advice on local restaurants and helped us find a pair of sunglasses at a restaurant for which we couldn’t remember the name or the exact location in Colonia. They were responsive to my many questions via email and were gracious when we picked at hotel for which they couldn’t get a special rate instead of one for which they received a commission. Definitely book with this travel company!

Three highlights of our trip were:
* Dancing at milongas after midnight in Buenos Aires
* The rush of Iguazu Falls
* The angels on the monuments at the Recoleta Cemetery

I travel extensively and I have high expectations for a travel specialist. I do hours and hours of research before every trip. I am very critical of travel specialists. The travel company exceeded my high expectations. Their knowledge, flexibility, professionalism, and service was impressive. I highly recommend them. Their attention to detail made the trip much more relaxed and easy. For instance, when I arrived in Argentina I was given a local cell phone programmed with their phone number. Anytime I needed help or a recommendation I could talk to them. One example is at the end of the trip my wife and I were looking for a specific gift to buy, but we could not find it. I called Andrea to find out where we should look. She met us 15 minutes later to take us to another area of town to find exactly what we wanted. This was at 5pm on a Saturday night. Wow, great service!

They did such an amazing job customizing our trip to fit our personalities. They even informed the hotels in which we stayed that it was our honeymoon, and there was champagne waiting upon our arrival! What a nice touch. I have recommended them to other travelers already.

It was so nice to not have to coordinate our own transportation. We were always picked up on time and taken to the correct place. It made our travels worry free. We put in a request to meet with a local farmer since we are in the agriculture industry, and they made it happen! It was an amazingly educational meeting. We drank amazing wine and ate two steaks a day for a week while brushing up on our Spanish skills too. The people of Argentina were very friendly and we loved every minute of our honeymoon adventure.

Hi Marcelo and Andrea-
Well we have arrived safely back to Boston. Anne and I just wanted to say thank you again for an amazing trip. We had such a great time and really enjoyed everything, from the excursions, to the hotels, and of course the food. I think we are still full from the winery lunches.
Hope all is well. We’ll share a link with our pictures!

The service provided by Argentina Adventure was thorough and excellent. The fact that they have a branch office in Buenos Aires gives it added credibility and resources.

Highlights of my trip: 1. The continuous assistance by the, Andrea. 2. Tango Gala Show. 3. The private guided tour of Buenos Aires with Paola. 4. Trip to Iguazu Falls. 5. Private cooking lesson

This was a fantastic trip! Argentina is a beautiful country with a lot of things to do and see. But the customer service provided by Argentina Adventure really made this trip what it was. Our host in Buenos Aires was so friendly and outgoing, and she kept us up to date with minor airport issues (because of delays caused by volcanic ash) via a cell phone she gave us the first day. She also gave use a welcome gift bag that contained snacks, a small bottle of wine, and adapter plugs (which were so useful since we accidentally brought the wrong ones from home). Every part of the planning process and the vacation was enhanced by the tour operator’s expertise and excellent service. We were met at each leg of our trip by friendly and professional drivers and guides selected by the company. I have recommended them to everyone I know!

The trip was our favorite that we have taken. The country was absolutely beautiful, and Argentines are the friendliest country. We loved practicing our Spanish with the locals, enjoying the cafe culture in Buenos Aires, and seeing the natural beauty of Patagonia. This is an excellent travel company. They took care of all of the details, so we could just enjoy the trip. They gave us an Argentinean cell phone, so that we could contact them if we had any questions. In addition, they gave us a power adapter which was perfect since we brought the wrong kind! They hand-selected our tour guides who were each outstanding. Cannot say enough great things about them! Marcelo, Andrea, and Sabrina were all wonderful.

The most memorable parts were walking around San Lorenzo penguin colony by ourselves, hiking through the Upsala Glacier and the Perito Moreno glacier. We were able to see newly hatched penguin chicks with no one else around. It was a truly magical experience.

They did a great job not only in planning our trip, but thinking of the little things as well. The lake kayaking in Bariloche was a definite high point of our trip: peaceful, beautiful scenery and an enjoyable lunch on the shore of the lake. Iguasu Falls are spectacular and staying at the Sheraton in the park is the most convenient way to do it.

Fantastic! We loved this trip and Argentina Adventure. They went way, way, above and beyond in service and value. We highly recommend them to everyone. We feel like they became friends through the process of planning and working together on this trip. Not only do they help you with all the details and sift and sort with what you should you see, and make all the connections within your budgetary constraints, but they even meet you on site and are there with you! They even give you a cell phone with their number programmed in and call in to see how everything is going. You can plan the trip of your dreams with their wisdom and knowledge.

We loved everything. Special memories were of the glaciers, the Beagle channel, seeing whales leap out of the water, walking around Ushuaia, and horseback riding on the stepped of Patagonia with the vistas of the Andes in the background. The steaks and Malbec wines in Mendoza weren’t bad either and the Tango shoe in Buenos Aires knocked our socks off.

Thanks to Marcelo and Andrea, every aspect of our trip was terrific and well organized. The country is beautiful and varied and we explored 4 different and superb regions- Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Salta/ Cafayate and Mendoza. All our guides and drivers were delightful and informative, arrived exactly on time, and spoke fluent English.

We will never forget a picnic lunch served to us in the canyons en route to Cafayate and dancing in the main plaza in Salta. All our activities and hotels matched each region and were extraordinary. Of course we enjoyed a great deal of good food and extraordinary wine tastings.

Argentina Adventure made for an exceptional Argentina experience! We loved every moment of our trip. They created amazing moments for us and they delivered impeccably. This was the easiest trip I have ever taken – I didn’t have to think; I just enjoyed. I am only sorry that they don’t offer trips to other parts of the world. I would hire them over and over.

We really had a hard time picking just one favorite experience. We loved the Perito Moreno Glacier hike, the Tango show in Buenos Aires, the private hiking and sea-kayaking with the beautiful lunches overlooking pristine Patagonian vistas and, of course, the Penguins! It was exactly as we wanted – a perfect mix of relaxation, sight-seeing and outdoor adventure – all tied up in a neatly designed and perfectly executed package. Bravo Marcelo and Andrea!

Our trip to Argentina was one of the best vacations we have ever experienced! Argentina Adventure could not have planned a better trip based on our preferences. In fact, they surpassed our expectations.

The Perito Moreno Glacier Minitrek was the most enjoyable adventure; definitely a Bucket List item . But the 3-mile hike in Bariloche on the Llao Llao Trial followed by a lakeside picnic lunch, the Campanario, Calafate off-road adventure, the boat ride through the glaciers and the 8-mile hike near the Upsala Glacier are all memorable adventures from our trip. The service was incredible. We were given a cell phone to use for local calls or to contact the Argentina Rep, Andrea. My husband had a meeting in Buenos Aires the first week of our trip. Andrea offered the use of the agency cell phone, even though that part of the trip wasn’t planned by them. When we returned to Buenos Aires on our way home, Andrea offered the use of the town car to do some more sightseeing. We never expected this bonus! I have recommended Argentina Adventure to my family and friends.

Argentina Adventure was fantastic! Every aspect of the trip was enjoyable and memorable: the private tour guides were amazingly knowledgeable and likeable, Buenos Aires (including Gala Tango and our guide, Paola), the wildlife on Peninsula Valdez, the sheep ranch in El Calafate (we’ve seen a lot of glaciers, but most people would be wowed by the glaciers as well), and Iguassu Falls.

Argentina Adventure is an outstanding company. We were deeply impressed with how carefully Marcello listened to our hopes and ideas about the trip; how responsive he was; and his unparalleled follow-through. He had fabulous suggestions and matched us with terrific guides, which resulted in our having a really special and interesting trip. He also prepared us really well -what to pack, how to tip, what to expect in so many situations. And he tracked our experience closely. When we got on an earlier flight one day, he responded immediately and made sure our airport driver met us at the earlier flight. He followed up on an interest in history that my husband mentioned to one of our guides.

We felt entirely secure every step of the way. And, in addition to tremendous expertise and a remarkable commitment to service, Marcello and his lovely partner Andrea infused their planning and other work with great warmth. They made us feel like honored guests in addition to valued customers.

We loved the beautiful off-road trip culminating in a barbeque in El Calafate; the glacier trek; the bike ride through the vineyards in Mendoza; the symphony at Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires; the biking in Bariloche. The vineyards. The food. The art. The music. What a country!

The vineyards were a great experience as well.
