Hike to the Base of the Towers

This is one of the Park’s best options for avid hikers. During this 8-9 hour hike, you’ll pass through virgin Beech forests as you make your way up through the Ascencio River Valley. You’ll then reach a final 1,100 foot climb to reach the Tower lookout point at the base of the mountain where you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch with an amazing view. During your return to the lodge, you’ll also be able to appreciate several crystal clear lakes that make the scenery truly one of a kind. For those that like horses, you can choose an option to ride about 1/2 way up.
