We were deeply impressed with how carefully Marcello listened to our hopes and ideas about the trip; how responsive he was; and his unparalleled follow-through. He had fabulous suggestions and matched us with terrific guides, which resulted in our having a really special and interesting trip. He also prepared us really well -what to pack, how to tip, what to expect in so many situations. And he tracked our experience closely. When we got on an earlier flight one day, he responded immediately and made sure our airport driver met us at the earlier flight. He followed up on an interest in history that my husband mentioned to one of our guides.
We felt entirely secure every step of the way. And, in addition to tremendous expertise and a remarkable commitment to service, Marcello and his lovely partner Andrea infused their planning and other work with great warmth. They made us feel like honored guests in addition to valued customers.
We loved the beautiful off-road trip culminating in a barbeque in El Calafate; the glacier trek; the bike ride through the vineyards in Mendoza; the symphony at Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires; the biking in Bariloche. The vineyards. The food. The art. The music. What a country!
