Spend the afternoon at Estancia San Lorenzo located in the northern area of the Reserve. This estancia has 13,000 acres including 3 miles of coastline that hosts a Magellanic Penguin Colony that averages over 100,000 year after year. You’ll be able to walk among them accompanied by a certified guide and appreciate their nesting habits, their expressions and the interesting sounds they make. Aside from the penguin colony, the area has important archaeological value as it is a location that shows evidence of pre-historic marine mammal life.
