Day 1- Buenos Aires
Arrive in Buenos Aires, settle in and take an afternoon tour of this vibrant city.
Day 2: El Calafate
Fly to El Calafate in the
southern part of Glacier National Park * Horseback
ride to our secluded restaurant for a gourmet
lunch nestled in the Andes mountains * View the stunning 3.5 mile
wide Perito Moreno glacier once the mass
of tourists have left
Days 3-6: El Chalten
Private vehicle transfer
to El Chalten – North Glacier National Park, our
base for the next few days. Multiple 4-8 hour day hikes exploring
this wonderful part of the park * Hike to Laguna de los 3 for the
most amazing close up views of Fitz Roy * Experience
the dramatic peaks of the Cordon Torre * Hike less
traveled trails through other areas of the park not visited
by many * Return by private vehicle to El Calafate.
Days 7-8: El Calafate
Full day alternative glacier trek to explore the glacier's crevasses, turquoise pools, running streams and vertical walls seen by so few * Visit the Patagonian steppe for amazing panoramic vistas of the 3 rd largest lake in South America * Fly to Buenos Aires for our group's farewell dinner
Day 9: Return Home
Day on your own in Buenos Aires to enjoy at your own leisure * Late afternoon transfer to airport for your flight back home |
